After thirteen years and a loyal five-star following at Uppity by the Miner Sisters, they set out to reinvent one thing the traditional salon gets wrong: your time.

Every custom formula, adjustment, and important service note is carefully documented in your guest profile and stays with the salon. Love your stylist? Keep seeing them. But if they're booked, away, or your schedule simply doesn't line up, you're free to book with another Hue Kaboom colorist who can pick up where your last appointment left off. You don't have to remember what shade was used or explain everything all over again; your color history is already here. Every artist brings their own expertise and perspective, but our shared records and team-based approach give you something traditional salons don't always make easy: continuity without sacrificing flexibility. Not every color appointment needs to end with another 45 minutes in the chair. That's why we created our complimentary DIY Blow-Dry Bar—giving you the option to finish your hair yourself after your color service using our professional dryers, brushes, and styling products. It's perfect when you've got a meeting, school pickup, dinner plans—or simply a life to get back to. Want to sit back and let us do the work? A professional blow-dry and style can always be added to your service. Either way, you get the same expert color; you simply choose how you want to finish. Think of it as the express lane for great hair—because your salon appointment should fit your schedule, not take over your day.

At Hue Kaboom, our colorists work alongside trained assistants who help with the many moving pieces of your appointment—from preparing color and keeping services on schedule to shampooing, treatments, and all the little details in between. Your colorist still leads your service, makes the creative decisions, and oversees your result; they simply have a team behind them to keep everything moving. More hands when they're helpful.
